Club Managers Group Mid-Year Gathering - South Island - 5 & 6 July 2023

In light of the challenges we've faced in the Hospitality industry over the past couple of years, we believe it's important to come together and support one another.  The Club Managers Group is excited to announce an upcoming get-together, and we'd love for you to join us!

This event will provide an invaluable opportunity for club managers to build stronger connections and foster a supportive network. It's all about getting to know each other better, so we can collaborate and assist each other during these challenging times.

The aim will be to meet Hokitika Wednesday morning, stay the night and come home on the Thursday (you all deserve a night away)

Here's what we have planned:

Wednesday 5th

  • 1pm Hokitika Chartered Club
  • Presentation Regan Clarke (Bidfood / Sous vide options)
  • Presentation Andrew Key (Ashton Whealens Accounting & Audit services)
  • Presentation DIA (new gaming regulations)
  • Group discussion (Topics of discussion include, Wage expectations, Fair pay agreement, Clubs NZ update (KB), Gaming landscape, General trading environment, Club Managers update)
  • 4pm Monteiths Brewery visit (Greymouth)
  • 6pm Networking & Social activity (Hokitika Chartered Club)

Thursday 6th

  • 9.30am Hokitika Chartered Club Group discussion continued before heading back to the regions.

Open to all Managers within the South Island, take the opportunity to meet and network with fellow managers and discuss ongoing issues.
