The Role
Following a review of its operations the Club is seeking to appoint an inspiring Marketing and Communications Advisor to provide effective PR, marketing and graphic design for the Club.
Reporting to the General Manager, this 20-30 hour role is an exciting opportunity, for a strong influencer and communicator to take a leading role in the promotion of one of the country’s top clubs, setting the tone and approach of its messaging in an effective PR Plan and successfully engaging with audiences through printed, digital and social platforms.
The Marketing and Communications Advisor will promote the Club’s activities and events to its members, potential members and staff to compelling internal and external communications such as newsletters, posters, display tv imagery, together with website and social media management.
The role will also involves assisting with the management and delivery of key Club events.
The successful candidate will have:
- experience in PR, marketing, brand building and designing promotional campaigns.
- experience delivering effective external and internal communications through a variety of channels, including social media and website content.
- strong and creative writing skills, including the ability to produce reports and copy for advertising, promotions and media releases.
- excellent verbal communication skills.
- experience in producing professional presentations.
- graphic design flare and ability to use Adobe Creative Suite apps to produce professional images, documents and posters.
- excellent relationship marketing skills to achieve optimal outcomes.
- ability to work to meet tight deadlines.
