By now most of you will have been asked “so, what are your New Year’s resolutions?” Typically, they involve “exercising more”, “taking more time for yourself”, or “spending more time with family”. ASA releases new Alcohol Advertising and Promotion Code

17 December 2020

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has announced it has adopted a new Alcohol Advertising and Promotion Code (the Code) following a scheduled review of the existing Code for Advertising and Promotion of Alcohol completed by the ASA Codes Committee (the Committee). The new Code is effective from 1 April 2021 for new alcohol advertising and promotion and 1 July 2021 for all alcohol advertising and promotion.

Clubs New Zealand 2021 Conference, AGM + EXPO - Activities and Partners Trips

The Clubs New Zealand 2021 Conference, AGM and EXPO is going to be packed with activities that will allow delegates and partners to experience Christchurch and its great clubs.

Friday 19th March will feature a club bus tour and race night that delegates and partners can add onto their conference experience. On Sunday 21st March, partners can leave the business end of the Conference & AGM to the delegates and tour Christchurch on the 2021 Partners Trip.

Covering coin slots is unlawful

The Department of Internal Affairs is aware that some venues are restricting players from inserting $2 coins in gaming machines by covering or taping over the machine coin slot. We view this as tampering with approved gaming equipment.

We are excited to be starting the 2021 calendar of events with the Clubs New Zealand Family Race Day on Saturday 23rd January at Trentham Racing Course.

This family race day is perfect to pitch up a tent in the sunshine, enjoy a picnic on the lawn and have a flutter on the racing while the kids can run wild on a huge range off FREE activities.

The draw to find the winner of the 2020 Clubs New Zealand Sport $2,000 Prezzy Card Voucher was recently conducted and we would like to congratulate this years winner Neil Filer of the Dannevirke Services & Citizens Club

Neil entered the draw by completing the entry form when participating in the Clubs New Zealand 2020 National Trout Fishing Tournament that was recently hosted by the Rotorua Citizens Club.

Annual Membership Update Forms will be sent out on Friday 4th December

3 December 2020

On Friday 4th of December all clubs will receive an email with a link for you to complete your annual membership update.  The annual update forms are online and come pre-populated based on the information we currently hold for your club.

You will need to declare the clubs total number of financial members for the year ended 31 December 2020.  The total number of members is the sum of financial members across all membership categories.
